Watch: 'Hateful' Lipstick Message Rocks the Werk Room on 'Drag Race'

This article contains spoilers for 'Rupaul's Drag Race' Season 17.

A sensitive health issue seems to be at the root of a biting lipstick message that a departing queen scrawled to fellow "Drag Race" contestant Onya Nurve.

In a preview of the long-running competition reality show's next episode, Entertainment Weekly showed how Arrietty still overshadows the show even after she's sashayed away.

The contestants are horrified to find the missive "As one smelly bitch to another, Onya, please brush your teeth" scrawled in lipstick on the Werk Room mirror in the preview clip, and "Onya... gets emotional and cries," EW recounted, noting that the parting shot "sends shockwaves through the room."

The shocking twist takes place at the top of the next episode – and of EW's "First Lewk" preview.

Jewels Sparkles explains in a confessional that, behind the scenes, Onya had told her fellow castmates that she "does have a condition and she has bad breath. This is actually something she's been insecure about for a long time," EW relayed.

Lexi Love also commented on the topic, saying that Onya "told some of us that she needs to see a dentist, she don't know what's going on."

Onya took aim at the departed queen after the slam: "That's exactly why she deserved to go home," Onya declared, "because she's a hateful ass bitch."

Commenting on the swipe, Sam Star said, "I can't tell if Arrietty was trying to be funny, or if she was trying to be nasty, but either way, Onya definitely didn't deserve that."

But all is well once more in the sisterhood. Arrietty took to X (formerly Twitter) on March 13 to tweet out an update saying that things have smoothed out between them.

"Onya and I are gucci," Arrietty posted. "We've already had our talk in person and hashed it out. I love onya. Period."

In the comments, the queen followed up with an explanation that even if others in the cast were in the know, she was not.

"I genuinely never knew about her condition, she never told me," Arrietty wrote.

"Whether ya'll believe me or not, i wouldn't write something like that if she opened up to me about it."

That wasn't the only outreach Arrietty did about the issue.

"In an Instagram Live session with her followers Thursday, Arrietty told her fans: 'I will live. Everyone will live. It's okay!' and that 'you can only crucify a bitch that gives a f---!'" EW relayed.

The new episode drops tonight on MTV.
