Watch: Drew Starkey Stars in New Music Video from Haim and Gay Twitter Explodes

In Luca Guadagnino's acclaimed drama "Queer," Drew Starkey was the object of Daniel Craig's affections; in Haim's new video, he's the subject of yearning glances, with his hot buzz cut, as the sister act sings about "Relationships."
The video shows Starkey and the sisters packing a car, with Starkey and lead vocalist Danielle Haim playing a couple who are breaking up.
Danielle's character is moving out; her sisters Alana and Este, along with Starkey, help her pack her belongings in a car, but Danielle's character is having second thoughts. She gazes at Starkey as he moodily stares at the bundles in the loaded car, and time flows backwards as she reflects on their time together: sharing a bed (Starkey sleeping on his side, clad in bright white T and boxers), dancing close at a club, rolling on the floor, and flirtatiously dressing and undressing each other.
Alana and Este trade exasperated looks as Danielle hesitates.
"Feels like we're not even friends in this relationship / But I would do it all again / If you put down your defenses," Danielle sings. "I think I'm in love, so why am I trying to escape from it?"
The lyrics add: "I think I'm in love, but I can't stand fuckin' relationships."
The video's premiere – and Starkey's reveal as the video's leading man – came after hints and teases online, Cosmopolitan relayed.
"The Grammy-nominated musicians of 'Days Are Gone' and 'I'm Gonna Be Hungover' fame are no strangers to a chronically online rollout," the magazine recounted. "Naturally, they played into the mystery man bit while teasing and promoting their video."
"Most of their TikTok and Instagram comments were begging them to drop who their costar is, while many already locked Drew in as their final guess," Cosmo added.
Social media users had more to say with the video's drop, as Gay Twitter went into overdrive.
