READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Madonna's 2005 album "Confessions on a Dance Floor" holds a special place in many queer millennials' hearts. So it's exciting news when the Queen of Pop offered an update on the iconic album's sequel.
In December Madonna teased that she's back in the studio with producer Stuart Price, who helmed "Confessions," which spawned one of her best songs of the 21st century "Hung Up." But on Thursday, she took to Instagram to update fans on new music.
In a new post, Madonna shared a video slideshow of herself making music in the studio with Price and her kids, Billboard notes. Her caption reads: "My Valentine's Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I'm putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can't wait to share it with you!! 🩷🩵🩶🤍🩷🩵🩶. Confessions Part 2."
When she announced she was teaming up with Price again in December, she wrote at the time: "Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don't need to ask anyone for their permission," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I'm so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!"
