Here Is Taylor Zakhar Perez's Skincare Routine

If you're like us and have spent the better part of this summer crushing on Taylor Zakhar Perez, then chances are you've noticed his flawless complexion. The breakout star of the just-released "Red, White & Royal Blue," Zakhar Perez has long been one of the sexiest up and comers, known for memorable performances in "The Minx" and "The Kissing Booth." But this finally feels like his time to shine, and it appears as though the world is finally taking notice of this beautiful, beautiful man.

Zakhar Perez recently told Allure that he's not at all like his roll-out-of-bed-and-throw-a-cap-on character. Rather, his mother was an esthetician who always taught her children the importance of taking care of your skin, including washing his face twice a day, every day, always using moisturizer, and always wearing sunscreen. "And I still use [that advice] to this day," he told Allure. "I'm kind of obsessed with it."

Here's what he told Allure about his impressive skincare routine:

The Cleansers

To start, he likes to double cleanse. "Sometimes I use PreCleanse from Dermalogica, just depending on if I'm working on a job where they're putting makeup on me or if I go surfing and I have heavy sunblock on my face," he explained. And as his second cleanse – or only cleanse, depending on the day – he turns to Dermalogica's Active Clay Cleanser, which helps control acne and keep his T-zone oil-free. "That's where it gets pretty messy if I don't use it," he said.

The Moisturizers

Although he told Allure that he tends to use lighter moisturizers during the warmer months and heavier ones in the winter, he also uses a different moisturizer before bed than he does in the morning. Most days, he uses the Clarins Extra-Firming Day Cream, and most nights he likes Shiseido's Vital Perfection Overnight Firming Treatment.
