Meet the Queens of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 14 Coming in January

One thing to look forward to in the New Year is the next edition of "RuPaul's Drag Race," which premieres on January Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT for Season 14. VH1 announced the queens who will be participating in the competition, and it includes one major surprise: amongst the 14 contestants is the show's first-ever heterosexual, cisgender male contestant, reports Variety.
"The just-concluded third season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' included the franchise's first cisgender woman, Victoria Scone, who identifies as a lesbian," adds Variety. "The first season of 'Drag Race UK' featured a bisexual performer, Scaredy Kat, who had a girlfriend when he was on the show. The most recent season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' was won by Kylie Sonique Love, the first out trans woman to win in franchise history. And last year, 'Drag Race' featured its first trans male contestant, Gottmik, who identifies as pansexual."
But the addition of Maddy Morphosis, the Arkansas contestant who describes himself as a camp and comedy queen, "marks the first time someone who does not identify as LGBTQ has participated on the show that has been celebrated for bringing queer identities into the mainstream," writes Variety.
In addition, the season will feature two trans women as contestants, Kerri Colby and Kornbread "The Snack" Jeté.

Alyssa Hunter
The pageant queen wrote: "It's Official, Puerto Rico Is Back in the Game. I'M A RU GIRL BITCHES"
Angeria Paris VanMicheals
Describing herself as "The Southern Belle from ATL," she wondered, "Are you gagging on my Southern eleganza?"
Bosco
Bosco, who calls herself "Demon Queen of Seattle," wrote: "Here's to showing my ass on national(global) television!"
Daya Betty
Towering above her other contestants is this 6'4" contestant from he Missouri-based House of Methyd, founded by Season 12 finalist Crystal Methyd.
Deja Skye
According to her press release, Deja Skye promises "killer lip synchs," which may give her a leg-up in the eliminations. This Fresno, CA-based drag queen wonders, "Are you ready to Embrace the Curve?"
Jasmine Kennedie
Known as a dancer, this NYC-based queen calls herself a "Backflipping Bimbo". "The game will NEVER be the same!!"she promises.
Jorgeous
"Oh You Wanted A Dancing Diva? You Got It!" this Texas-based queen writes on IG.
June Jambalaya
This LA-based queen claims on her website, "you get all the different seasonings in this June Jambalaya."
Kerri Colby
One of the two trans women on this season, The LA-based queen is a member of "the legendary House of Colby." "When all is said and done, you'll believe God is a WOMAN," she writes on IG.
Kornbread "The Snack" Jeté
The season's second trans woman contestant who also hails from Los Angeles. As her name suggests, her aesthetic is based in food.
Lady Camden
"A British Queen on US Drag Race!? We're clearly making our own RU-les this season!" she quipped on IG. Now living in California, she describes herself as a dancing queen.
Maddy Morphosis
Describing herself as Arkansas's Most Overrated Drag Queen, Morphosis is the first first heterosexual queen to compete on "Drag Race." "The game will NEVER be the same!" she writes on IG.
Orion Story
The first queen to represent the state of Michigan, Story's aesthetic is described in a press release as having ""smoldering Lana Del Rey energy."
Willow Pill
Pill has a connection with previous "Drag Queen" royalty being �drag sister of Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly. She promises to bring her "outré" approach to drag to the season.
