Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, the breakout star of the reality series "Mob Wives" who brought gay nights to her bar The Drunken Monkey in Staten Island, is hospitalized and being treated for stage-four cancer.

According to VH1.com, the popular reality show figure was sent to the emergency room Wednesday with labored breathing and severe pain.

"Ang's current diagnosis is stage 4 brain and lung cancer," states VH1. According to family members, Ang, 55, was not responsive to the latest round of chemotherapy that she began at the beginning of 2016. The "Mob Wives" star was then advised to begin immunotherapy but is in extreme pain. The family is now considering alternative medicine like cannabis oil.

A GoFundMe page that was set up on Tuesday to help raise funds to assist Big Ang with her treatments raised $32,000 in two days exceeding its original $25,000 campaign goal.

Big Ang is niece to the late Salvatore "Sally Dogs Lombardi, a former captain of the Genovese crime family.
