PopUps: Did Lady Gaga Get Hitched?

The rumor mill is in full swing this week, and its targets are Lady Gaga and her longtime boyfriend, the hunky Taylor Kinney.

According to reports, Mother Monster may soon be Mrs. Mother Monster. Reports say that the pop star and the actor may have secretly tied the knot, International Business Times points out.

But more likely than not, it appears as the duo didn't get "married-married," but pretty close. IBT reports that the couple's close friends and family members got together recently for a commitment ceremony.

The rumors started after Kinney's "Chicago Fire" co-star, Sophia Bush, posted a picture of him on her Instagram account. That's all fine and good, but the pic shows Kinney wearing what appears to be a silver wedding ring. Bush did tell Instagram users, however, that it was simply Kinney's personal ring.

According to the Daily Mail, Gaga, 28, and Kinney, 33, allegedly held a commitment ceremony to prove how dedicated they are to each other. They reportedly held their event at Joan Tratorria, a New York City restaurant owned by Gaga's parents.

"Gaga wanted something visual, a commitment ceremony with the people who matter the most," a source told the Daily Star. "They don't have time to plan a wedding, so they decided they would have a small gathering to show the people they love most how committed they are to one another. It was just for her family and a few close art and designer friends."

The Daily Mail reports Kinney's mother may have been at the event, as well as his brothers, and that the couple plan to get "properly" married next year when they have more free time.

Gaga met Kinney on the set of her music video for "You & I" three years ago.

The singer had this to say about him last year when talking with Howard Stern:

"The connection that I feel is so strong that it's so much stronger than physical. We're both very protective of our love as well. We treat each other with a lot of care and we're good to one another."
