Armie Hammer is trending on social media this week... for all the wrong reasons.

"Screenshots are circulating online from an account that claims to show the actor speaking to women in a way that is sexually domineering and violent," writes Glamour Magazine. "Some of the messages, which Glamour won't link to here, speak of drinking blood, describe scenes of sexual control, and reference cannibalism."

There is no proof that the posts are real, adds Glamour, pointing out that they can be easily faked. Hammer began trending on Sunday night, the Daily Mail reports, "after a series of graphic Instagram DMs that he allegedly penned to a woman were leaked publicly by an anonymous, now-private account, House of Effie."

The actor is yet to speak publicly on the matter, and multiple requests for comment sent to his representatives have so far gone unanswered, writes the Daily Mail.

"The alleged messages, said to be sent between October 2016 and February 2020, include conversations about BDSM, in addition to numerous sexual references to cannibalistic acts and 'blood-sucking'."

After the initial postings over the weekend, E! News was not able to confirm their authenticity, but on Sunday night, poster @houseofeffie, who shared some of the notes, claimed they were not real. "Ok ok, I admit it. It's all fake... But it was funny wasn't it?" Then on Monday, January 11, she stood by her initial claims and alleged Armie's "crazy fans went so far as to fake a DM by me."

Then on Tuesday the poster shared new alleged correspondences with Hammer where he referred to her as a slave, writes the DM. " 'You just live to obey me and be my slave,' a message purported to have been sent from Hammer's official Instagram account reads. 'I will own you. That's my soul. My brain. My spirit. My body. Would you come and be my property till you die?... If I wanted to cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession?' "

In a second message to the woman, Hammer allegedly wrote: "I feel like the same way you are on one side of the slave spectrum, I Am on the other side of the master spectrum and I can't ever imagine another slave... You are mine and I am yours. No matter what happens,' it continues. 'And we've tested each other to the extremes."

The woman explained she first contacted Hammer in 2016 when she approached him and he responded on social media. How the relationship developed is not known. "However, in dozens of screenshots shared across Sunday and Monday, Hammer is alleged to have messaged the woman across a period of just under four years, until February 2020, about various sexual kinks including cannibalism, rape fantasies and 'sucking blood," adds the DM. "In one message, the actor allegedly writes to the woman: 'I am 100% a cannibal. I want to eat you.'.. F**k. That's scary to admit,' the message continues. 'I've never admitted that before.' "

Writer Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, who was spotted out with Armie in September 2020, expressed her belief on Monday, Jan. 11 that the leaked DMs from @houseofeffie "are real," adds E! News.

"If you are still questioning whether or not those Armie Hammer DMs are real (and they are) maybe you should start questioning why we live in a culture willing to give abusers the benefit of the doubt instead of victims."

She followed it up with a second tweet in which she wrote: "Hate to break it to you but Armie Hammer is not going to read your tweets that defend, dismiss and justify him— but your friends who have been in manipulative and abusive relationships will read every single word."

Adding: "I'm seeing a lot of posts going around about how I am a man-hater and I would just like to clarify: Yes. I love women, I respect women, I protect women, I believe women, I stand by women, and I hate men who don't."
